Emily Miner
Emily Miner is a vice president in LRN’s Ethics & Compliance Advisory practice and a subject matter expert in organizational culture, ethics, compliance, and leadership.
Leading LRN’s culture practice, Emily helps companies shape and manage their ethical culture, emphasizing data-driven approaches to foster ethical behavior and inform program strategy.
She also leads the research side of LRN’s major thought leadership, identifying trends and best practices in areas such as E&C program effectiveness, codes of conduct, culture, and ESG. She presented recently at Compliance Week one of their most popular webinars ever, “Culture as a Compliance Risk.”
Emily is lead author of the LRN Benchmark of Ethical Culture report, a survey of 8,000 employees in organizations in 17 industries which confirms the companies with the most ethical cultures outperform others by 40% across key business metrics including employee loyalty, customer satisfaction, innovation, adaptability, and growth.
Prior to joining LRN, Emily held various roles in the environmental science and sustainability sectors, both in non-profit and academia. She also contributed to drafting international climate policy goals as part of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Emily has a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida with a degree in Anthropology.
Emily is a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) and has been featured in numerous publications including Forbes, Agenda, and Fast Company.
